The Colina Room
This is William’s bedroom. The Mansion was designed with two master bedrooms, which was seen as a status symbol during the time period. Each bedroom is unique in size and shape with a different type of ceiling. This is the only room with exposed wooden beams. Many of the windows still have original panes of glass, they are slightly wavy compared to the modern glass.
The original bathroom features Catalina tile and the shower has multiple shower heads and sprayers. All of the bathtubs in the home have been covered and turned into seating areas. The bathroom would have originally been accessed directly through the changing closet. The additional doorway, where the built-in bookshelf used to be, was added during the 1970s when owned by Tally Industries.
