The Geneva Room

In this spectacularly decorated room is the original table from the Formal Dining Room and the buffet table from the Breakfast Room. The star light fixture from Morocco ties in with the Moroccan style sun in the Rotunda ceiling and balcony railings.

William and Ada’s granddaughter Ada Blanche “Blanny” would often stay in this room along with her little sister. One day, the little girls were bored and decided to see how full they could get the shower. The girls clogged up the drain with a towel, turned the water on, hopped out, and let the shower fill up. It filled about halfway before the door burst open and the entire room flooded.

Fun fact: Elvis Presley was rumored to have stayed in this room in the 1970s.
