The Pasadena Room

This former guest bedroom is now an Art Deco-inspired dining room. The modern crystal chandeliers blend beautifully the room’s original Art Deco fireplace surround, made with original Catalina tile. The chairs are original to the main dining room and recovered in a plush blue velvet. The dark blue walls set off the original computer art by late owner Geordie Hormel and the Poppy series by American artist Donald Sultan. The attached balcony features a Moroccan patterned railing with outdoor carpet echoing the pattern. The attached private restroom has been updated with plumbing fixtures copied from designs of the1930s.
